Dots (Junk)
Points for the good stuff — birdies, greenies, sandies, and more.
Dots — also called Junk or Garbage — rewards on-course achievements. Every "dot" is worth the stake, collected from every other player. It's zero-sum, so the best day pays for the worst.
What earns a dot
- Birdie / Eagle — read straight off your scorecard.
- Greenie — on a green in regulation on a par 3.
- Sandy — up and down from a bunker for par.
- Barkie — par or better after hitting a tree.
- Chip-in — holing out from off the green.
- Snake — a 3-putt: a penalty dot (−1).
In GimmeTab
- Birdies and eagles count themselves from the scorecard.
- Tap the rest onto the bet card as they happen.
- Agree with your group on exactly what counts before you tee off — greenie/sandy rules vary by crew.
